“House Sugary House.” That’s what my attempt at translating the phrase “Home Sweet Home” into German came out sounding like. As you can imagine, I was met with some odd looks.
Earlier today I was spoon-feeding my 8-month-old son one of his favorite snacks: applesauce. Since he is used to feeding himself finger-foods, he didn’t quite understand the concept of Mama refilling his spoon. Every time I tried to take it away to dip it back in the jar, he threw a little fit.
